Mercedes victory in Budapest

Mercedes driver Paul Di Resta surprisingly won the Saturday race in DTM at the Hungaroring. Audi had totally dominated qualifying with Rene Rast on Pole Position ahead of Jamie Green, Mattias Ekström, Nico Müller and Mike Rockenfeller. Only Loic Duval couldn’t follow his teammates and “only” qualified seventh. In fact, we had to go all the way down to fourth position to find the best Audi in the race result with Mike Rockenfeller, where Timo Glock and Bruno Spengler also sneaked by. Toyota fastest in warm up

Toyota Gazoo Racing was the fastest team in warm up as well. Car number 8 had the fastest time ahead of the number 7, while Porsche #1 sneaked in ahead of Toyota #9. ByKolles Racing Team #4 only did four laps, which wasn’t a good sign. They changed the engine yesterday, after getting a new flown in from Nissan, but something on the car was giving them problems, though the team hasn’t informed exactly what.
