Debut win for Rene Rast

Rene Rast claimed his maiden win, when this weekend’s second race was run at the Hungaroring in Hungary. The German had claimed the weekend’s, and in fact his career’s second DTM Pole Position, and was leading almost from start to finish. The qualifying had once again been an Audi domination, where only Marco Wittmann was the only BMW in top-6, starting second.
