Jean-Eric Vergne leaves the FIA World Endurance Championship race at the Fuji circuit with a yellow card in his backpack. The 27 year old French driver at CEFC Manor TRS Racing #24 was involved in a collision with Mathias Beche from the Vaillante Rebellion #13 team in the LMP2 category, while the two drivers were in a Slow Zone on the track. Hockenheim was the home for the DTM finale of this year’s Championship, with 4 Audi Sport drivers still able to grab the Drivers Title ahead of the race. Audi Sport had chosen to finish off their Audi Sport TT Cup after the third season of running. The talent development class was a successor of series like VW Polo Cup, and Volkswagen Scirocco Cup. Wet 6 hours race at Fuji

Round 7 of this year’s FIA World Endurance Championship was held at the Fuji track in Japan, and it was to be a wet edition, like we have often seen from the Japanese races. Race control decided to start the race behind the Safety Car, so the cars could clear some of the water from the track.
