HART confirms TPNAEC programme

HART has confirmed their entry at the endurance rounds of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team enters an Acura NSX GT3 driven by Ryan Eversley and Chad Gilsinger, with two more drivers to be announced shortly for the Daytona 24 Hours. Jack Harvey will once again have a partial IndyCar programme with selected races during 2018. Michael Shank Racing (MSR) and Schmidt Peterson Motorsport (SPM) will work together on running the car through these six races. The 24 year-old Brit competed for Michael Shank Racing at the 2017 edition of the Indy500, but that was a collaboration between the MSR team and Andretti Autosport. Michael Shank Racing with major changes to IMSA programme

There will be big changes in the IMSA programme for Michael Shank Racing, when the new season starts in one months time at Daytona. Two Axura NSX GT3 was run in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the GTD category, but that will be reduced to one full-season entry, with an extra car for the Tequila Patron North American European Cup (TPNAEC). David Heinemeier Hansson new Lexus driver

David Heinemeier Hansson will be the new driver for Lexus in the coming season. The 3GT Racing team participates in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship with two Lexus RC F GT3 cars, and Heinemeier Hansson will share car #15 with Brit Jack Hawksworth, who drove for the team during their inaugural season in 2017.
