Intensive 6 hours with surprises

The third round of the Asian Le Mans Series 2017/18 was run at Buriram in Thailand. Opposite to the other three rounds this season, this was a 6 hour race, creating a brand new challenge for all the teams, since there hadn’t previously been run a 6 hour race in the Asian LMS. Ginetta has presented their new LMP1 car at the Auto Sport International Show. The presentation happened in collaboration with the CEFC Manor TRS Racing, who has bought two cars. The Manor team hasn’t announced their engine choice just yet, but Ginetta has previously mentioned a Mecachrome V8 as an option for the car. Harding Racing and Gabby Chaves are preparing for the first full season together in the Verizon IndyCar Series 2018. They already started working together in 2017, where they had three starts. The AF Corse team have confirmed their four drivers, who will be participating in the full FIA World Endurance Championship 2018/19 season. Unsurprisingly it will be the same for guys who helped the team secure both the Team- and Drivers Championships in 2017.
