Nurburgring 24hr race – Through the Field, first 6 hours

#40 Aston before even being able to take the start, seen stopped in the middle of the track at Hohenrain. The second group took the green flag in quite a muddled order, the KTM dropping behind the Hyundai before getting the power back down; however a clear lead was being built up for the alternatively fuelled #320 Porsche. Close qualifying at Monza

The European Le Mans Series had an ultra close qualifying session ahead of the 4 hours of Monza. Six cars were entered for the GTE category, but only five made it onto the track during the Qualifying. JMW Motorsport Ferrari #66 had an accident during practice, and the mechanics were still busy rebuilding the car when the others drove onto the circuit.
