Kimiläinen and Webb to become electric drivers

Emma Kimiläinen and Oliver James Webb are the two next drivers ready for the Electric GT Championship.

By that announcement we have 13 of the 20 seats filled with drivers, in the all new Tesla Model S P100D racers.

Oliver James Webb, or often just mentioned as Olli Webb, has been driving various single-seater classes, where he among other good results, finished 3rd in the British Formula 3 Championship. In the last few seasons he has been driving for Team Bykolles Racing in FIA WEC with their LMP1 car.

Finnish driver Emma Kimiläinen was a young and promising single-seater talent 10 years ago, and after beating all the boys in Formula Ford, she went to Germany in ADAC Formula Masters, and then went on to do Formula Palmer Audi, where the luck and budget ran out. In 2014 she was offered and seat in STCC in Sweden, where she has been driving since.

We expect more announcements from Electric GT Championship in the next few days.
