Many driver changes in ADAC GT Masters

There are a lot of changes to the driver line-ups at this weekends ADAC GT Masters rounds.

The 6th race weekend of the 2017 season will be held at Sachenring near Chemnitz, and due to the date clash with many other series, there will many changes to the teams this weekend.

Championship leader Jules Gounon will be joined by Renger Van Der Zande in the Callaway Competition Corvette #77. The duo won the Sunday race in Zandvoort earlier this season.

At BMW Team Schnitzer the Austrian Philipp Eng will be joined by Dutch driver Nick Catsburg in the BMW M6 GT3 racer, since Ricky Collard will be busy with other racing.

The biggest changes will happen at Mücke Motorsport. Jamie Green and Alessio Picariello replace Markus Winkelhock and Filip Salaquarda in the orange Audi R8 LMS #24.

The pink Audi R8 LMS #25 will have its usual driver Mike-David Ortmann, but will get paired up with Filip Salaquarda, who usually pilots the #24. The usual #25 driver, Frank Stippler will, just like Winkelhock, race in the Blancpain series.

Lucas Auer and Sebastian Asch will race in the pink Mercedes-AMG GT3 #26. Auer subs for Stefan Mücke, who is racing in USA with the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing Team UK in the FIA WEC.

The races will be run on Saturday 13.15 CET and the Sunday race starting 13.08 CET.
