Amazing season finale in Portimao

There were still a lot of trophies and championships to drive for, when the season’s last European Le Mans Series race was run at Autodromo do Algarve, which is more known as Portimao in Portugal. 39 cars were ready on the grid, where the race started at 12.30 local time. Ammermüller reclaims title

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2018 season finished in Mexico City. Championship leader Michael Ammermüller had Pole Position, just like in yesterday’s race. Julien Andlauer started second, followed by Thomas Preining. Nick Yelloly would start the race from fifth, as the final championship contender. The penultimate race of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season was run at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez i Mexico. Championship leader Michael Ammermüller had grabbed Pole Position ahead of Julien Andlauer and Larry ten Voorde.
