FIA WEC Prologue and Rookie test 2019 announced

The dates for the FIA World Endurance Championship Prologue and Rookie Test 2019 have been announced. The Prologue will be run on 24-25 July at Circuit de Catalunya in Spain. That is the week following the third round of the European Le Mans Series, at the same venue. The FIA WEC Prologue this year was run at Paul Ricard in the south of France, on the weekend prior to the ELMS season start, and two days before their first testing started. Augusto Farfus has chosen to stop in the DTM series, and instead focusing on GT Racing. The Brazilian has done 7 DTM seasons, and has been swapping and changing between sprint races and endurance/GT racing ever since his arrive at the manufacturer in 2007. He has done sprint races like WTCC and DTM plus endurance like Nürburgring 24 Hours, Spa 24 Hours and the IMSA endurance rounds in the USA. Rosenqvist to feature at Mahindra

Felix Rosenqvist will still feature at Mahindra Racing in the ABB FIA Formula E Championship. The Swede has raced during the past two seasons for the Indian team, but had actually done his final Formula E race for now, since he has signed with Chip Ganassi Racing in the Indycar series.
