England goes to Japan this weekend.
Confused? Don’t worry.
England is Christian England – an Englishman. And he will be the third driver on the United Autosports #3 LMP3 car, when the second round of the Asian Le Mans Series will be run at the Fuji International Speedway.
England has been a part of United Autosports through several seasons, but this is the first time for him at the Japanese track.
He will share #3 with Kay van Berlo and Matt Bell, while Jim McGuire has to miss this round due to business commitment.
The team will once again enter two LMP2 cars and two LMP3 cars. At the opening round in Shanghai one and a half weeks ago, three of the four cars were on the podium. It was actually on #3 with van Berlo/Bell/McGuire, who lost out on trophies that weekend.
The 4 Hours of Fuji will be run this weekend.
