The European Le Mans Series will have an all-female team, when the 2019 season starts in two months’ time. The winners of the Michelin Le Mans Cup in the GT category in 2018, Kessel Racing, will enter a Ferrari 488 GTE with Dane Michelle Gatting, Swiss Rahel Frey, and Italian Manuela Gostner behind the wheel. Two teams declassified at Daytona

The Rolex 24 At Daytona finished Sunday afternoon, local time. The race result was changed Thursday evening. It wasn’t the overall result that was the issue, but instead it was in the GTD category where two teams had fallen foul of the drive times for the drivers. Scuderia Corsa Ferrari #63 and Montaplast by Land-Motorsport Audi #29 didn’t follow the times on Toni Vilander and Ricardo Feller respectively. It’s referred to artile 12.12.C in the regulations. The VLN Organisation have been having constructive discussions with the ILN (Interessengemeinschaft Langstrecke Nürburgring, meaning interest community endurance Nürburgring, which are representatives of the teams). Falken Motorsports starts the 2019 VLN season with the new Porsche 911 GT3 R (991.2), which they already tested at the end of the 2018 season in VLN Race #7 as first Porsche Customer Team.
