Toyota confirms 2019-20 participation

Toyota Gazoo Racing has confirmed their continued participation in the FIA World Endurance Championship. It wasn’t a major surprise, since they have talked about their 2019-20 season – but it hasn’t officially been confirmed until today. The team will enter two TS050 Hybrid cars, which they use in their current campaign. There are always minor fine tuning going on, so there will probably be a few changes here and there. LMP3 generation 2 presented

Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) has announced the new LMP3 regulations, starting 2020. The LMP3 category was introduced in 2015, where Ginetta was the first company to have a car ready. Ligier joined them later in the year, while Adess and Norma are the two latest. Ginetta left the party early on, when they had an argument with the engine supplier ORECA. Hartley in WEC comeback

When the 1000 Miles of Sebring runs on 15 March, the familiar face of Brendon Hartley will back in the FIA World Endurance Championship. The now former Formula 1 driver from New Zealand has signed with SMP Racing, where he will run the race at Sebring plus the 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps. His teammates will be the former Indycar driver Mikhail Aleshin and the former Formula 1 driver Vitaly Petrov in car #11.
