ADAC GT Masters field ready for the opening round – updated

The ADAC GT Masters have their entry ready for the 2019 season. As we have previously reported, 31 cars will run this season, with a good mix of 7 different manufacturers. One of the last teams to announce their drivers is Team Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing. DTM 2019 field complete

All 18 DTM drivers for the 2019 season have now been announced. The final driver was revealed today, with Pietro Fittipaldi joining Audi Sport Team WRT. He’ll be teammates with Jonathan Aberdein. WRT is a new name in the DTM sport, but certainly not at Audi Sport. WRT has their base in Belgium, and has raced with Audi cars for nearly ten years, with the R8 LMS GT3 being the primary car, but more recently also the RS 3 LMS TCR car. Orange and blue McLaren for Indy

McLaren Racing has presented their car for this year’s Indianapolis 500, which will be run on 26 May 2019. The paint job is very similar to their Formula car, where orange and blue is once again the overall colour scheme. A new thing for the team, is that they will run the car themselves, opposite to the 2017 race, where Andretti Autosport ran the car.
