The ADAC GT Masters have their entry ready for the 2019 season.
As we have previously reported, 31 cars will run this season, with a good mix of 7 different manufacturers.
One of the last teams to announce their drivers is Team Zakspeed BKK Mobil Oil Racing. They have put a Dutch driver in each of their cars – Kelvin Snoeks will share his car with Mick Wishofer, while Jeroen Bleekemolen will be teammates with Jimmy Eriksson.
Mick Wishofer has raced in ADAC Formula 4 for the last two seasons, but will now switch to closed cockpit cars. The three others have previous experience from the category, with Jimmy Eriksson most recently racing for Team Rosberg in their Lamborghini. Jimmy is the older brother of DTM driver Joel Eriksson.
Kelvin Snoeks has raced in Lamborghini GT3 cars for the least few years, and has knowledge from ADAC GT Masters in 2016, where he raced for HB Racing. And then we have Mr. racing-driver-every-single-weekend-of-the-year, Jeroen Bleekemolen. He is a frequent flier from Europe to USA, with a full season programme in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, spiced up with other USA races and European races for teams like Black Falcon in their Mercedes.
We just have one TBA left in the field – the teammate for Arlind Hoti at Aust Motorsport Audi #4. All other drivers are signed up by now.
Update – MRS GT-Racing announced their final line-up just two days before the start of the season.
The series starts on 27-28 April at Oschersleben.
