The FIA World Endurance Championship has announced the preliminary entry list for the Prologue ahead of the 2019/20 season. Circuit de Catalunya hosts the Prologue on 23. and 24 July, where 30 FIA WEC cars will participate in the two-day test. All 6 remaining LMP1 cars are entered for the test. SMP Racing has chosen to pull the plug on their LMP1 programme with immediate effect. The Russian team, who built a brand new LMP1 car in collaboration with Dallara for the FIA World Endurance Championship 2018/19, announced their decision in a press release, that they have nothing more to win the FIA WEC at the moment.
