The fastest laptimes of the weekend in the WEC qualifying

The qualifying to the FIA World Endurance Championship 4-hour race at Silverstone was run on Saturday midday, right after European Le Mans Series’ qualifying. Close qualifying for ELMS

The qualifying for European Le Mans Series race at Silverstone was a close affair. Firstly, the GTE cars got a ten-minute session. The special thing about Silverstone is that the ELMS cars are in the old pitlane, while the qualifying exit was from the new pitlane. It was an action-packed FP3 for FIA World Endurance Championship, in the season opener at Silverstone. The air- and track temperature were colder today, which meant quicker laptimes for all the classes except for LMP1.
