Corvette Racing has announced the pair of drivers, who will help out at the endurance rounds of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship 2020.
Marcel Fässler will once again race with Tommy Milner and Oliver Gavin in #4 at Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 Hours, Watkins Glen 6 Hours and Petit Le Mans 10 Hours. This will be the fifth year in a row for the Swiss driver at Corvette Racing.
Antonio Garcia and Jordan Taylor will have a new third driver in the car. Nicky Catsburg was part of BMW’s FIA WEC effort throughout 2018/19, but he has done plenty of GT racing before that, plus the World Touring Car Championship, and more recently, WTCR.

The team has officially only confirmed Fässler and Catsburg at the four US rounds – but the team hopes to retain their two fixed spots at Le Mans 2020, and if that is the case, we are more than likely to see the two help out there too.
We previously had Mike Rockenfeller in #3, together with Jan Magnussen and Antonio Garcia, but he was no longer in the picture, since DTM has a date clash with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. With Corvette already swapping Magnussen for Taylor – who had raced with Magnussen/Garcia in the past, to be fair – they would rather want the third driver to be a part of the team as early as possible.
The six Corvette Racing drivers have their first 2020 task on 3-5 January, when the ROAR Before The 24 test is held at Daytona International Speedway.
