The NTT IndyCar Series has announced that the opening race of the 2020 season will run as planned this weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida. But there won’t be any spectators at the race, and with only a very limited number of photographers and journalists. Nielsen misses out on IMSA debut

Nicklas Nielsen will not only miss out on the 100 Miles FIA WEC race at Sebring next week, but will also miss his debut in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He was scheduled to drive for Risi Competizione in the GTLM category, where he would share a Ferrari 488 GTE Evo with Daniel Serra. SuperSebring 2020 cancelled

SuperSebring event 2020 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. FIA World Endurance Championship were the first to cancel their 1000 Miles race, due to the travel restrictions preventing Europeans to enter the US. IMSA followed up later on the Thursday, that the 12 hour race wouldn’t be run in March either.
