ELMS postpones season opener

The European Le Mans Series has postponed the two first races in Barcelona and Monza. Just like many other race series around the world, the ELMS has chosen to put the 4 Hours of Barcelona at Circuit de Catalunya in April and the 4 Hours of Monza in May. This includes both Michelin Le Mans Cup races at the same circuits. These are not direct cancellations, but the series is working on an alternative calendar. We will of course update, as soon as this calendar is revealed.

Indycar postpones start of season

The NTT IndyCar Series has chosen to postpone the start of the 2020 season. Despite a press release issued Thursday afternoon local time, the series has given a second thought Friday morning, and has cancelled this weekend’s race in St. Petersburg. The next round at Long Beach was already cancelled by the city itself yesterday, and now the series have chosen to also cancel Round three at Circuit Of The Americas. Formula E puts everything on pause

The ABB FIA Formula E Championship has chosen to put the current 2019/20 on pause. They have decided to cancel everything in March, April and May, so the teams won’t go to (originally announced) Sanya, Rome, Paris or Seoul. On top of that we have Jakarta in June, which was cancelled earlier this week by the organizers. Jensen in key role at G-Drive

Mikkel Jensen will get a key role at G-Drive Racing in 2020. The young Dane has signed a contract with the Russian squad for the European Le Mans Series 2020 and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, plus the FIA World Endurance Championship race at Spa Francorchamps, which the team uses as a warm-up for Le Mans.
