Daytona opens for fans

When the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship resumes at Daytona International Speedway on 4 July, there will be spectators at the venue. There is however a limitation of 5000 spectators, with everybody having to be residents of Florida, since fans from other states aren’t allowed. The spectators will be allowed on either the grand stand, or in a special limited camping area, where people are allowed to sit by or on top of the RV’s. Compact PMSC schedule

Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup has announced a revised 2020 schedule, which will be a very compact one. It should have been a 9-race schedule, but instead, it will be eight races around Europe. PMSC will follow Formula 1, at the 8 events that F1 announced earlier this month. So the season will start out with two races at Red Bull Ring, followed by Hungaroring. Formula E finishes off in Berlin

The ABB FIA Formula E  Championship will finish off the 2019/20 season in Berlin. The season was put on hold in March, when the COVID-19 situation spread across the world. Since Formula E is typically run in the city centres, it’s a big logistical challenge. But Berlin is unique by being run in the former Tempelhof Airport, which already is a closed area with no or limited public access.
