The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup 2018 season finished in Mexico City. Championship leader Michael Ammermüller had Pole Position, just like in yesterday’s race. Julien Andlauer started second, followed by Thomas Preining. Nick Yelloly would start the race from fifth, as the final championship contender. The 8th round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup was run at the ultra fast Monza track in Italy. Challenging Hungarian heat

With four races in five weeks, the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup finished off an intense first half of the season at the Hungaroring near Budapest in Hungary. Another Bentley-boy has decided to go into retirement. 43 year-old Guy Smith has opted to end his professional career at Bentley Team M-Sport in their GT3 programme. Matt Campbell won the Saturday Round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup in Mexico. The 22 year-old Australian started the race from P2, in a sandwich between the two title candidates, Dennis Olsen on Pole Position and Michael Ammermüller in P3. Olsen made a small mistake on the second lap of the race, losing two positions, and dropping behind both Campbell and Ammermüller.
